Today’s the ten year anniversary of my moronic car crash, wherein I totalled Mom’s car less than a month after I got my driver’s license.
Here’s to the wonderfully sturdy engineering of the 1994 Dodge Colt and the summer of memorable misadventures that it helped usher in.
Steve & Keddy, you guys are some of my best friends, and I’m sure that was cemented by our moment of sitting upside down in a ditch. <3.

Since you’re now grown-ups, you can appreciate my losing my car 2 payments away from it being paid off. It was in excellent condition and I probably could have driven it payment-free for several more years. Sigh. Also, very sad about Michael Jackson. I’m not sure you 80’s kids have a comparable pop icon.

It was a miracle that none of you were hurt, other than a bloody nose! I remember being so upset with my young off-shoot over that incident, however, Mark served his own penance over that crash. Furthermore. Mark still attemps to emulate Dad with his driving prowess! lol Too bad Chrysler stopped making survivable automobiles!!!!
